This data set is the 1995 - 2005-era land cover change classification of the US Gulf Coast data set which utilized 67 full or partial Landsat 5 and 7 Thematic Mapper scenes which were analyzed according to the Coastal Change Analysis Program (C-CAP) protocol to determine land cover.The purpose of these data are to improve the understanding of coastal uplands and wetlands, and their linkages with the distribution, abundance and health of living marine resources. The area surveyed were parts of South Florida, 1996 -2002 (NODC Accession 0038687)These data were part of C-CAP zones 36 and 37 and are 1995 - 200-era Land Cover Change Analysis. for the Gulf Coast region (Mexico) of the U.S. |
