The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

| Title: | Data compilations for primary production, herbivory, decomposition, and export for different types of marine communities, 1962-2002 (NODC Accession 0054500) |
| Abstract: | This dataset is a compilation of published data on primary production, herbivory, and nutrient content of primary producers in pristine communities of microphytobenthos, macroalgae and seagrasses in estuarine systems. Purpose: To examine the variability in herbivory within and across pristine communities of microphytobenthos, macroalgae and seagrasses. The dataset is available as supplemental material for a chapter on benthic grazing in a book about estuarine nutrient cycling. |
