The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Gridded 5-day mean sea surface height anomaly and significant waveheight from Jason-1 and OSTM/Jason-2 satellites (NODC Accession 0065055)
Abstract: This accession contains the gridded 5-day mean sea surface height anomaly (SSHA) and Ku Band significant waveheight (SWH-KU) observed from Jason-1 and OSTM/Jason-2 satellites. This dataset has been generated in near-real time during the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Event in order to provide users a quick view on the sea level and wave activity changes in the Gulf regions though it provide a global coverage. All the observations within 5 days were interpolated into 0.25 longitude and 0.25 latitude uniform grid.
The OSTM/Jason-2 observations are picked from Interim Geophysical Data Records (IGDR) which is archived under NODC AMS accession 0043269. ((http://www.nodc.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/search/prod/accessionsView.pl/details/43269)
The Jason-1 satellite data are selected from ftp://podaac.jpl.nasa.gov/pub/sea_surface_height/jason/igdr_ssha_netcdf/data/
