The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Delayed XBT data assembled for the Global Temperature-Salinity Profile Programme (GTSPP) and processed 2002-01-28 - 2002-02-03 (NCEI Accession 0000661)
Abstract: Temperature profiles were collected from XBT casts from the OLEANDER and other platforms from a world-wide distribution from 22 November 2001 to 23 January 2002. Data were collected by Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) in support of NOAA's volunteer observing program.

Number of observations: 603
Supplementary information: These data are processed and incorporated into the Global Temperature-Salinity Profile Programme (GTSPP) database.

NCEI has determined that the call sign for the platform "OLEANDER" as documented in the data files is incorrect. The data files document the call sign as "PJJU" whilst NCEI has determined the correct call sign is "V7SX3".
