The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Delayed XBT data assembled for the Global Temperature-Salinity Profile Programme (GTSPP) and processed 2002-04-29 - 2002-05-05 (NCEI Accession 0000718)
Abstract: Temperature profiles were collected from XBT casts from the SKOGAFOSS and other platforms from a world-wide distribution from 06 February 2002 to 10 April 2002. Data were collected by the Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) as part of the NOAA's volunteer observing program.

Supplementary information: These data are processed and incorporated into the Global Temperature-Salinity Profile Programme (GTSPP) database.

NCEI has determined that the call sign for the platform "OLEANDER" as documented in the data files is incorrect. The data files document the call sign as "PJJU" whilst NCEI has determined the correct call sign is "V7SX3".
