The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Chemical oceanographic profile data collected aboard the Brooks McCall in the Gulf of Mexico from 2010-05-15 to 2010-05-16 in response to the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill event (NODC Accesssion 0074372)
Abstract: Chemical oceanographic profile data were collected aboard the Brooks McCall in the Gulf of Mexico from 2010-05-15 to 2010-05-16 in response to the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Event on April 20, 2010, by the Subsurface Monitoring Unit (SMU), which consisted of multiple government and corporate agencies. These data include Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) and Volatile Organic Compounds. The instruments used to collect these data were bottle. These data underwent quality assurance and control procedures to validate their scientific integrity at the National Coastal Data Development Center (NCDDC). (NODC Accession 0074372)
