| Abstract: | This entry contains the results from the Outer Continental Shelf Study (OCS) Benchmark Study in the North Atlantic which ran from February 10 to March 7, 1977 from The R/V GYRE. These ocean station data were submitted by Energy Resources Co., Inc. in fulfillment of BLM contract # AA550-CT6-51. This data contains eleven files with different file types and therefore different reference numbers. The following is a description of the files and a listing of the reference numbers: file 1 labelled L00998, L130 contains nutrient, temp, salinity and do data; file 2 labelled L00965, L513 contains %silt, %clay, %grain size, %carbon and %nitrogen in sediments data; files 3 and 4 labelled L00963, L521 contains taxonomic code, counts and egg/larvae data; file 5 labelled L00966, L134 contains metals in zooplankton, water, sediment and macrobenthos data; file 6 labelled L00967, L131 contains lipids, hydrocarbons in water, zooplankton, macrobenthos, sediment and surface film data and ; file 7,8,9 labelled L00968 contain macrobenthic taxonomic codes and counts. |
