Title: Cruise report for FS METEOR Cruise 60 Leg 3 from Las Palmas, Canary Islands to Ponta Delgada, Azores, during February 28 - March 14, 1982 (NODC Accession 0078562)
Abstract: The focus of this cruise leg was physical oceanography of the area between the Canaries and the Azores within the program of the SFB 133 'Warm water sphere of the Atlantic' at the University of Kiel. The goal was to investigate the ocean transport processes and mesoscale eddies in this branch of the large-scale North Atlantic circulation and to observe the characteristic distribution of water masses.
