The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Global Near Real-Time Temperature and Salinity Profile Data from the GTSPP project from 22 May 2002 to 10 January 2003 (NODC Accession 0000863)
Abstract: Physical, meteorological, and other data were collected from XBT casts, buoys, and other instruments from a World-Wide distribution. Data were collected from 22 May 2002 to 10 January 2003. Data were submitted by the Marine Environmental Data Service (MEDS) in support of the Array for Real-time Geostrophic Oceanography (Argo), the Gulf of Mexico NOAA/NMFS Ship of Opportunity (SOOP), and the Global Temperature-Salinity Pilot Project (GTSPP). Physical parameters include profiles of temperature and salinity. Meteorological data include dry bulb temperature, wind speed, wind direction, relative humidity, and air pressure.
