The cruises were conducted using over 30 different ships. The bathythermograph (XBT) data was collected between May 5, 1993 and October 26, 1994. The data was sent from the cruise ships to the National Ocean Service, Rockville, MD via telecommunication and was submitted by Chris Noe to NODC. |

Palisades, N.Y. : Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University, [1994?]. Note: Metadata for this accession were extracted from a legacy database maintained by the U.S. National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). The design of the database did not exactly reflect the FGDC Content Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (CSDGM).
