The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Sea surface temperature data collected from buoys deployed world-wide in support of the U.S. Coast Guard Office of Search and Rescue (CG-SAR) program from 2004-03-24 to 2016-09-30 (NCEI Accession 0098145)
Abstract: This dataset contains sea surface temperature (SST) data collected from buoys deployed in support of the U.S. Coast Guard Office of Search and Rescue (CG-SAR) program. These SST data are reported in degrees Fahrenheit along with the geospatial coordinates in decimal degrees. Deployment purposes include research, law enforcement, environmental protection, training, search and rescue, legacy deployment and other. Buoys are deployed from fixed wing aircraft, helicopters, vessels and other platforms.
