The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Displacement volume collected from tows monitoring collected in the North Atlantic Ocean on NOAA Ship ALBATROSS IV cruises AL9505, AL9506 and others as part of the GB project from 1995-02-11 to 1999-06-23 (NCEI Accession 0098781)
Abstract: This dataset contains biological and tows data collected on NOAA Ship Albatross IV in the North Atlantic Ocean from 1995-02-11 to 1999-06-23. The instruments used to collect these data include Bongo Nets. These data were collected by David Mountain and John Green of National Marine Fisheries Service as part of the GB project(s). The Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) submitted these data to NODC on 2012-09-29.

The following is the text of the abstract provided by BCO-DMO:

Bongo displacement volume data, GLOBEC Georges Bank broadscale cruises, 1995-1999 collected from R/V Albatross IV, R/V Endeavor, and R/V Oceanus cruises from the Gulf of Maine and Georges Bank from February 10, 1995 to June 22, 1999 (GB project).

BioVolume Data from Bongo Tows during Broadscale Cruises, 1995-1999 Dave Mountain, Jack Green and Joe Kane, NMFS This displacement volume data comes from one net with a mesh size of 333 um.
