The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

The Common Murre Restoration Project is a comprehensive seabird restoration effort aimed at enhancing depleted seabird populations in central California, specifically those of the common murre (Uria aalge). The main focus of the project is to reestablish a colony of murres on a small seastack called Devil's Slide Rock, located along the San Mateo coast near Pacifica. The USFWS's San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge Complex was chosen to lead the restoration efforts for murres. Data slides from the restoration project were digitized as part of CDMP Task L-24 by the NOAA National Oceanographic Data Center and permanently archived at the NODC. |
