Comments: In collaboration with the Keys Marine Laboratory (KML) of the Florida Institute of Oceanography (FIO), NDBC installed the first SEAKEYS (Sustained Ecological Research Related to Management of the Florida Keys Seascape) station in May 1991. The stations automatically collect hourly measurements of water temperature, salinity, and water depth.
