| Abstract: | This dataset includes biological, chemical, and other data collected aboard the ENDEAVOR during cruise EN484 in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2010-09-20 to 2010-10-01. These data include Attenuation/Transmission, CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), DEPTH - BOTTOM, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, irradiance, speed over ground, and surface irradiance. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, CTD, GPS, PAR Sensor, echo sounder, fluorometer, oxygen sensor, and transmissometer. These data were collected by Gareth Lawson of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and by University of Rhode Island; Graduate School of Oceanography as part of Aggregation Dynamics of Euphausiids in the Georges Bank/Gulf of Maine. The Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program submitted these data to NCEI. The ADCP data represent the raw dataset. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data. A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. |
