Title: Underway meteorological data collected aboard NOAA Ship RAINIER in the Gulf of Alaska, North Pacific Ocean, Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary, and Yaquina Bay from 2013-09-30 to 2014-05-16 (NCEI Accession 0114449)
Abstract: This dataset contains real-time underway meteorological data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard NOAA Ship Rainier in the North Pacific Ocean, Coastal Waters of Southeast Alaska and British Columbia, Gulf of Alaska, Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary, and Yaquina Bay from 2013-09-30 to 2014-05-16. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). As part of the NOAA Shipboard Sensor Data Acquisition (NSSDAC) project, OMAO submits a standard suite of underway oceanographic and meteorological data collected during each cruise of a NOAA ship with SCS.
