Title: Underway physical and meteorological data collected aboard NOAA Ship David Starr Jordan in the North Pacific from 2003-07-31 to 2003-09-30 (NCEI Accession 0001213)
Abstract: This dataset contains real-time underway physical and meteorological data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard NOAA Ship David Starr Jordan in the Northeast Pacific Ocean (limit-180) and North Pacific Ocean from 2003-07-31 to 2003-09-30. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). As part of the NOAA Shipboard Sensor Data Acquisition (NSSDAC) project, OMAO submits a standard suite of underway oceanographic and meteorological data collected during each cruise of a NOAA ship with SCS.
