| Abstract: | This dataset contains real-time underway physical and meteorological data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard NOAA Ship Ronald H. Brown in the Gulf of Mexico, North Pacific Ocean, Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, Labrador Sea, North Atlantic Ocean, Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary, South Pacific Ocean, South Atlantic Ocean, and Caribbean Sea from 2003-02-04 to 2003-11-21. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). As part of the NOAA Shipboard Sensor Data Acquisition (NSSDAC) project, OMAO submits a standard suite of underway oceanographic and meteorological data collected during each cruise of a NOAA ship with SCS. |
