Title: Underway physical and meteorological data collected aboard NOAA Ship David Starr Jordan in the North Pacific from 2000-04-06 to 2000-04-29 (NCEI Accession 0000141)
Abstract: This dataset contains real-time underway physical and meteorological data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard NOAA Ship David Starr Jordan in the Coastal Waters of California, Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, North Pacific Ocean, and Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary from 2000-04-06 to 2000-04-29. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). As part of the NOAA Shipboard Sensor Data Acquisition (NSSDAC) project, OMAO submits a standard suite of underway oceanographic and meteorological data collected during each cruise of a NOAA ship with SCS.
