Abstract: This dataset includes discrete sample and profile data collected from BARUNA JAYA I in the Bali Sea, Banda Sea, Celebes Sea, Ceram Sea or Seram Sea, Flores Sea, Halmahera Sea, Java Sea, Makassar Strait, Molucca Sea and Timor Sea from 1994-01-28 to 1994-02-25. These data include CHLOROFLUOROCARBON-11 (CFC-11), CHLOROFLUOROCARBON-12 (CFC-12), DISSOLVED OXYGEN, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, Potential temperature (theta), SALINITY and WATER TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD and bottle.

These data were collected by Abdul G. Ilahude of Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) and Arnold L. Gordon of Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) as part of the GLODAPv2_42BJ19940128 dataset. CDIAC associated the following cruise ID(s) with this dataset: Arlindo '94
