Title: Underway physical and meteorological data collected by NOAA Ship ALBATROSS IV in the North Atlantic from 2002-03-06 to 2004-08-05 (NCEI Accession 0001668)
Abstract: This dataset contains real-time underway physical and meteorological data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard NOAA Ship Albatross IV in the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary, Northwest Atlantic Ocean (limit-40 W), and North Atlantic Ocean from 2002-03-06 to 2004-08-05. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). As part of the NOAA Shipboard Sensor Data Acquisition (NSSDAC) project, OMAO submits a standard suite of underway oceanographic and meteorological data collected during each cruise of a NOAA ship with SCS.
