| Abstract: | This dataset includes biological, chemical, and other data collected aboard the R/V Hugh R. Sharp during cruise HRS090311AW in the New York Bight and North Atlantic Ocean from 2009-03-11 to 2009-03-17. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), DEPTH - BOTTOM, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, CTD, GPS, echo sounder, fluorometer, and oxygen sensor. These data were collected by Amy Whitt of Geo-Marine, and by University of Delaware as part of New Jersey Wind Farm. The Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program submitted these data to NCEI. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data. The ADCP data represent the raw dataset. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. |
