| Abstract: | This dataset includes biological, chemical, navigational, optical, and physical data collected aboard the R/V Hugh R. Sharp during cruise HRS100308DK in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2010-03-08 to 2010-03-09. These data include Attenuation/Transmission, CONDUCTIVITY, DEPTH - BOTTOM, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD, GPS, echo sounder, fluorometer, oxygen sensor, and transmissometer. These data were collected by David Kirchman of University of Delaware as part of Photoheterotrophic Microbes of the Mid-Atlantic Bight. The Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program submitted these data to NCEI. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data. A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. |
