Title: Water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen and other parameters collected by CTD from NOAA Ship Bell M. Shimada, cruise SH-18-13, in the north Pacific Ocean off California from 2018-11-12 to 2018-11-16 (NCEI Accession 0187862)
Abstract: This dataset contains water temperature, salinity, and other parameters collected by CTD from NOAA Ship Bell M. Shimada, cruise SH-18-13, from 2018-11-12 to 2018-11-16. This cruise had the objectives to service moorings from the CCE (California Current Ecosystem) and CORC (Consortium on the Ocean's Role in Climate) projects. To calibrate and validate the mooring data, CTD casts with water samples were done. The CTD data are reported here. The CTD salinity and oxygen data have been quality-controlled and adjusted using the water sample data. The raw CTD data files are available through NCEI accession 0183540. The water sample data will become available through the Ocean Carbon and Acidification Data Portal at NCEI. Data are in netCDF format.
