The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Total alkalinity, pH on total scale and other hydrographic and chemical parameters collected from profile discrete samples during the R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer the Southern Ocean Carbon and Climate Observations and Modeling (SOCCOM) project, NBP1701, HazMat cruise (EXPOCODE 320620161224) in the Southern Ocean from 2016-12-24 to 2017-01-20 (NCEI Accession 0190415)
Abstract: This dataset includes discrete measurements and profile observations of total alkalinity, pH on total scale, temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen and nutrients during the R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer the Southern Ocean Carbon and Climate Observations and Modeling (SOCCOM) project, NBP1701, HazMat cruise (EXPOCODE 320620161224) in the Southern Ocean from 2016-12-24 to 2017-01-20. SOCCOM project is a large scale National Science Foundation funded research project based at Princeton University that started in September 2014. The project aims to increase the understanding of the Southern Ocean and the role it plays in factors such as climate, as well as educate new scientists with oceanic observation.
