Title: Ocean near-surface temperature and salinity thermosalinograph data of Hawaii Ocean Time-Series (HOT) cruises 335-339 from 2022-03-26 to 2022-09-04 (NCEI Accession 0284084)
Abstract: This dataset contains ASCII text formatted files of near ocean surface temperature and salinity data measured by shipboard thermosalinographs. The data were collected by The University of Hawaii, School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology, Department of Oceanography, Hawaii Ocean Time (HOT) Series, Physical Oceanographic Component. The HOT performs roughly 4-day cruises on a quasi-monthly basis and one annual cruise for maintenance of the Woods Hole HOT (WHOTS) mooring. One file is generated for each cruise. Each line in a given file has year, decimal day, longitude, latitude, temperature, salinity, and a quality flag. Samples are measured each 10 seconds at approximately 6 dbar (8m depth below ocean surface). This dataset contains HOT cruises 335-339 from 2022-03-26 to 2022-09-04.
