Title: Underway meteorological and physical data collected aboard NOAA Ship David Starr Jordan in the North Pacific and Gulf of California from 2000-06-19 to 2000-10-01 (NCEI Accession 0000332)
Abstract: This dataset contains real-time underway meteorological and physical data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard NOAA Ship David Starr Jordan in the Gulf of California, Northeast Pacific Ocean (limit-180), and North Pacific Ocean from 2000-06-19 to 2000-10-01. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). As part of the NOAA Shipboard Sensor Data Acquisition (NSSDAC) project, OMAO submits a standard suite of underway oceanographic and meteorological data collected during each cruise of a NOAA ship with SCS.
