Title: Underway physical and meteorological data collected by NOAA Ship NANCY FOSTER in the North Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico from 2007-07-30 to 2007-09-19 (NCEI Accession 0033386)
Abstract: This dataset contains real-time underway physical and meteorological data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard NOAA Ship Nancy Foster in the Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary, Gulf of Mexico, North Atlantic Ocean, and Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary from 2007-07-30 to 2007-09-19. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). As part of the NOAA Shipboard Sensor Data Acquisition (NSSDAC) project, OMAO submits a standard suite of underway oceanographic and meteorological data collected during each cruise of a NOAA ship with SCS.
