Title: Underway physical and meteorological data collected by NOAA Ship OREGON II in the Gulf of Mexico and the Northwest Atlantic from 2008-01-08 to 2008-02-06 (NCEI Accession 0039189)
Abstract: This dataset contains real-time underway physical and meteorological data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard NOAA Ship Oregon II in the Gulf of Mexico, North Atlantic Ocean, and Northwest Atlantic Ocean (limit-40 W) from 2008-01-08 to 2008-02-06. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). As part of the NOAA Shipboard Sensor Data Acquisition (NSSDAC) project, OMAO submits a standard suite of underway oceanographic and meteorological data collected during each cruise of a NOAA ship with SCS.
