Title: Underway physical and meteorological data collected aboard NOAA Ship OSCAR DYSON in the North Pacific, Bering Sea and the Gulf of Alaska from 2008-05-12 to 2008-10-18 (NCEI Accession 0049579)
Abstract: This dataset contains real-time underway physical and meteorological data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard NOAA Ship Oscar Dyson in the Gulf of Alaska, North Pacific Ocean, Coastal Waters of Southeast Alaska and British Columbia, Bering Sea, and Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary from 2008-05-12 to 2008-10-18. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). As part of the NOAA Shipboard Sensor Data Acquisition (NSSDAC) project, OMAO submits a standard suite of underway oceanographic and meteorological data collected during each cruise of a NOAA ship with SCS.
