Title: Underway physical and meteorological data collected by NOAA Ship DAVID STARR JORDAN in the Northeast Pacific from 2006-05-14 to 2006-07-15 (NCEI Accession 0006883)
Abstract: This dataset contains real-time underway physical and meteorological data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard NOAA Ship David Starr Jordan in the Gulf of the Farallones National Marine Sanctuary, Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary, North Pacific Ocean, and Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuary from 2006-05-14 to 2006-07-15. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). As part of the NOAA Shipboard Sensor Data Acquisition (NSSDAC) project, OMAO submits a standard suite of underway oceanographic and meteorological data collected during each cruise of a NOAA ship with SCS.
