Title: Underway physical, meteorological, and navigational data collected aboard NOAA Ship KA'IMIMOANA in the Pacific Ocean from 2010-11-15 to 2010-12-19 (NCEI Accession 0069472)
Abstract: This dataset contains real-time underway physical, meteorological, and navigational data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard NOAA Ship Ka'imimoana in the South Pacific Ocean, Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, and North Pacific Ocean from 2010-11-15 to 2010-12-19. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). As part of the NOAA Shipboard Sensor Data Acquisition (NSSDAC) project, OMAO submits a standard suite of underway oceanographic and meteorological data collected during each cruise of a NOAA ship with SCS.
