| Abstract: | This dataset contains real-time underway physical and meteorological data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard NOAA Ship Ronald H. Brown in the South Atlantic Ocean, South Pacific Ocean, Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary, Caribbean Sea, and North Atlantic Ocean from 2002-02-01 to 2002-11-06. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). As part of the NOAA Shipboard Sensor Data Acquisition (NSSDAC) project, OMAO submits a standard suite of underway oceanographic and meteorological data collected during each cruise of a NOAA ship with SCS. |
