Title: Underway physical and meteorological data collected aboard NOAA Ship BELL M. SHIMADA in the North Pacific Ocean, Coastal Waters of Southeast Alaska, and Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary from 2012-02-24 to 2012-03-07 (NCEI Accession 0086618)
Abstract: This dataset contains real-time underway physical and meteorological data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard NOAA Ship Bell M. Shimada in the North Pacific Ocean, Coastal Waters of Southeast Alaska and British Columbia, and Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary from 2012-02-24 to 2012-03-07. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). As part of the NOAA Shipboard Sensor Data Acquisition (NSSDAC) project, OMAO submits a standard suite of underway oceanographic and meteorological data collected during each cruise of a NOAA ship with SCS.
