| Abstract: | The Ocean Serial data in this accession was collected in South China Sea (Nan Hai), TOGA Area - Pacific (30 N to 30 S) as part of Tropical Ocean Global Atmosphere (TOGA) project from 3,148 stations. Oceanographic Station Data contain physical and chemical oceanographic data recorded at discrete depth levels. The Oceanographic Station Data observations were made using multi-bottle Nansen casts or other types of water samplers. The data was submitted to NODC by Taiwan. The data was collected between 1947 and 1988 using multiple ships from multiple countries. The data has been processed and is available in C100-Ocean-Station-Data file format of NODC. |
