Legacy Data
NCEI has acquired these legacy datasets from multiple sources over many decades. The data are provided, ‘as is,’ and in most cases the only available information is in the linked documentation. Our legacy pages include:
- Static datasets from stations or programs no that longer existent
- Historical solar and space physics data observed or compiled by scientists as part of their research efforts
- Databases created from analogical data rescue efforts from NGDC/NCEI or partners
- Scans of legacy Space Weather publications
