This dataset includes navigational data collected aboard NOAA Ship Ronald H. Brown during cruise RB0806 in the North Pacific Ocean and South Pacific Ocean from 2008-10-20 to 2008-12-01. These data include LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, course over ground and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include GPS. These data were collected by Robert Weller of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and by US DOC; NOAA; Office of Marine and Aviation Operations as part of Ocean Reference Station (ORS) Stratus 9/VAMOS Ocean Cloud Land Atmosphere Study (VOCALS). The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program.

A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file.
