Test oceanographic and meteorological data collected aboard KILO MOANA from 2020-03-04 to 2020-03-10 (NCEI Accession 0209658)

The data logging system on KILO MOANA recorded test oceanographic and meteorological data from various instruments while at dry dock in the Columbia River, Portland, Oregon, from 2020-03-04 to 2020-03-10. During this period, as part of the Shipboard Automated Meteorological and Oceanographic System (SAMOS) project, the data logging system sent the data daily via e-mail to Florida State University (FSU), where the Center for Ocean-Atmospheric Prediction Studies (COAPS) quality-controlled (QCed) the meteorological data. However, once it was discovered the data were not valid data, and were test data collected while at dry dock, the SAMOS project requested the QCed data be discarded. The original test data files remain for historical purposes.
