Hydrostatic pressure from two tide gauges in Florida Straits from 2008-07-08 to 2014-10-22 (NCEI Accession 0214547)

browse graphicPreview graphic
This submission contains data from two tide gauges located on the western and eastern edges of the Florida Straits at 27 degrees north. The gauges were located at approximately 12 meters depth on either side of the Straits. The two locations had gauges that were deployed for roughly 1-year periods, turned around and re-instrumented for the period 2008-2014. The sensors collected pressure measurements every five minutes. Both the merged five-minute data and the daily averaged data are included, as well as the original 5-minute raw files collected by the instruments. The processing of the data is described in the following publication: Meinen et al. (2020) - https://doi.org/10.1080/1755876X.2020.1780757. Data are in text format.
