Weather observations taken at the National Weather Service stations at Kinston Airport (ICAO code KISO) and Fayetteville Airport (KFAY), North Carolina. These data were keyed from images of the original Surface Airways Observation forms by students at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington as part of a class project. The data on the observation forms were keyed as recorded on the form.

Purpose These data were collected in the standard course of observation by the National Weather Service at the two airport stations. Observations were keyed by a class of students at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington as a semester project to understand weather observing practices and data.
