RADARSAT-2 is an Earth-imaging radar satellite which the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) and MDA (MacDonald Dettwiler Associates Ltd. of Richmond, BC) launched on 14 December 2007. The RADARSAT Constellation Mission (RCM) is Canada's third generation of Earth observation satellites, launched on June 12, 2019. Sentinel-1A and Sentinel-1B were launched as part of the Copernicus project (the Earth observation component of the European Union's Space programme); Sentinel-1A was launched on 3 April 2014, Sentinel-1B on 26 April 2016.
Purpose This dataset is available to the public for a wide variety of uses including scientific research and analysis.
