The National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) hosted the 2026 NOAA Industry Partnerships Summit on September 1-3, 2026 at the NOAA Auditorium and Science Center in Silver Spring, MD. This first ever three-day summit brought together nearly 400 industry leaders and experts across the Insurance and Reinsurance, Architecture and Engineering, and Retail and Supply chain sectors to mark a pivotal milestone as NOAA celebrates the history and successes of its Industry Partnerships program.
This event celebrated our shared accomplishments and formally hand off a robust foundation of co-developed environmental datasets, tools, and products directly to the private sector. By empowering partners to take the reins of these resources, the summit provided a unique opportunity to discuss how NOAA's environmental data will continue to support informed decision-making, strengthen industry resilience, and fuel long-term economic growth under industry leadership.
